ST FAITHS FACES CHANGE

THE RESTORED CLOCK FACES AND WEATHERVANE SHINE ONCE AGAIN

St Faiths church in the centre of Havant had its dilapidated clock faces renewed under a project spearheaded by Postcode Publications.

Following a successful funding drive, the clock faces were removed by Tarrant Specialist Contracting Services - who also carried out refurbishment of the Fairtrade gilded gold weathervane (the only one in the world) atop the 300 foot Chichester Cathedral Spire - without the use of expensive and obtrusive scaffolding.

The north clock face was restored in-situ due to difficulties with removing it, but the other two clock faces were removed, stripped back to bare metal and repainted in their original style to maintain their age old appearance in a way that you will actually be able to read the time!

Tarrant SE has been established for over 35 years with extensive experience in the lightning protection and steeplejack industry offering a nationwide service.
