Lisa Laverty tells us of a small group of 1st Emsworth Scouts who raised a whopping £228 for the Stonepillow charity which supports and empowers the homeless in Chichester.
The charity was picked by the boys as part of their fund-raising badge. They threw themselves into selling cakes and cookies they had helped make, in the square at Emsworth on Saturday 30th June. They were delighted by people's generosity and interest in their efforts.
