12 Hampshire & Isle of Wing Air Cadets gain their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Twelve Air Cadets from across Hampshire & the Isle of Wight attended St James’s Palace, in March to accept their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award from HRH Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh. They all met HRH in the Throne Room at St James's Palace and then received their Certificates from the BBC's Country File Presenter Ellie Harrison. Also in attendance was Benedict Cumberbatch, Darcey Bussell and Larry Lamb to present other awards.

An impromptu photo call outside with Ellie Harrison with all the Hampshire Cadets helped commemorate the day for all. A great day and one which all recipients should proudly remember for the rest of their lives.
