Acorn Health celebrated 2014 with a bang, having been awarded two highly regarded, National awards from the Royal College of Chiropractors towards the end of the year. They have been awarded a Patient Partnership Quality Mark (which recognises excellence in meeting patient expectations in a range of areas including accessibility, booking systems, privacy, communication and patient education), and the Clinical Management Quality Mark (which recognises clinics which achieve excellence in areas including clinical audit, outcome measurement, patient satisfaction and operational policies)!
In receiving both awards, Acorn Health have become one of less than 50 clinics in the UK to have done so, Philippa McKernan the principle Chiropractor at Acorn Health comments, ‘The awards add to the prestige of the clinic in Emsworth and demonstrates our recognition of the importance of healthcare in our community. We are thrilled to have been recognised as one of them, especially within just over 6 months of opening and we are now looking forward to going up to London to collect the PPQM and the CMQM awards soon!’
Philippa has a special interest in chronic pain management, and is also a member of the Royal College of Chiropractor’s specialist Pain Faculty. Based in Hampshire Health, Havant Road in Emsworth, they offer specialist musculoskeletal care for people of all ages and cover a wide range of conditions.
