The NatWest Bank in Park Parade
The NatWest announced in November, that they are closing their Park Parade branch. This has come as rather a shock, as the area is in the middle of a mini revival with several new shops opening in the last couple of years, bucking the national trend. It is particularly disappointing as the NatWest was the last bank in the area, and though they state that the cash machine will remain, and customers can access counter services at the Post Office, I can’t help but feel like they are more concerned with profits than their loyal customers, who will now have to travel to Havant for more traditional banking services.
