The Havant Town Centre Men’s Shed known as HAMESH has opended its doors in the Meridian Centre, Elm Lane opposite the United Reform Church.
Stewart Burns - Chairman and David Howes - Vice Chairman will welcome anyone who would like to know more about the intent of the Men’s Shed movement, which is spreading widely throughout the UK, following Australia, Ireland and other countries.
Users are know as Shedders, and can meet other like mided men either for association, skill sharing and the many other attractions that a Men’s Shed can offer.
HAMESH has a bright well equiped workshop, a meeting room, toilets and kitchen. This is all provided by Postcode Publications in Association with the Meridian Centre - many thanks go to the Meridian Centre Manager Rob Fryer for all his help and assitance to get us started.
