Hannah’s Holiday Homes was set up by family and friends in memory of Hannah Westbrook from Waterlooville who passed away aged 10. During her illness she continued to raise funds for Piam Brown Ward which is the children’s cancer ward at Southampton General Hospital and £10,000 was raised in 3 years – these monies were used to buy their first holiday home.
To celebrate what would have been Hannah’s 21st birthday the charity has purchased their third holiday home. On 14th March at 1pm at Shorefield Country Park Milford-on-Sea SO410LH will be the grand opening and any person wishing to attend please go to www.hannahsappeal.org for contact details.
These homes have been set up to give families valuable time away from it all or if they have lost someone very special – this fulfils Hannah’s wish as she loved to be with friends and family.
