Horizon Leisure Centres is pleased to announce that after years of planning and negotiation the eagerly awaited first phase extension of Waterlooville Leisure Centre has been agreed and work on site is set to start later this month by local contractors Speltham Construction Limited.
The exciting extension to the building which first opened for business in 1991, will comprise a substantial two-storey extended gym and exercise studio on the first floor, and an equally large state of the art children’s indoor play centre incorporating its own reception, 3 party-rooms and washrooms. To complement and support the new facilities a kitchen and café is to be provided in the main foyer, and there will be additional customer car parking spaces.
The new facility is expected to open summer 2015.
