Polar is a Netflix movie starring Mads Mikkelson and Vanessa Hudgens.
Mads Mikkelson plays a retiring assassin who is chased by other assassins on the orders of Matt Lucas' baddie. It's quite a simple premise, but Mads Mikkelson and all the cast make you care because they are such great actors.
The action is great and really brutal sometimes, the director certainly did a fine job with those scenes. The movie is two hours, but it still keeps you watching. The last act turns into a standard revenge movie, but that's not a bad thing and Polar does it well.
I wasn't expecting much from this movie, but it delivered stylish thrills galore.
