HAMESH SET TO MOVE

Postcode Publication Supports HAMESH to Establish New Premises at Havant Fire Station

The HAMESH Men’s Shed is planning to move premises into buildings kindly provided by the Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service at Havant Fire Station.

Postcode Publications will help to fund renovation of disued buildings to provide over five times more space than they have at present in the Meridian Centre.

Stewart Burns a founding member of HAMESH said “this move will give us the space we need to accommodate our ever growing number of members. We have sought larger premises for some time now as our popularity attracted more potential members than we could accommodate in the Meridian Centre space for which we will always be grateful to the manager Rob Fryer for allowing for the past seven years”

Postcode Publications will agree occupation terms with the Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service, and commission Critchley Architecture and Design to apply for planning consent,

Work will include provision of toilet and kitchen facilities, and reinstatement of the access driveway from Park Way.
