Some of the residents of Norfolk House in Havant have formed a "Knit and Natter" Group meeting fortnightly on a Tuesday evening.
They decided to knit and crochet for charity. Last year they knitted and crocheted poppies for the St Faith's Church for Remembrance Day. They have now made twelve blankets for a Local care home, and twelve bags that they will also donate.
The group has brought people together, after the pandemic stopped regular meetings, meaning that residents had become more isolated. They have now not only got company, but they are doing their bit to help other people.
They are looking forward to making more to help the local community.
