MORTONS Print has been named Regional Newspaper Printer of the Year for the second year in a row and took first place honours in the Niche Market Newspaper of the Year category at the News awards 2018.
The Lincolnshire company - printers of Postcode Publications - impressed judges with the high quality of its print work.
Judges praised the Horncastle-based printer for its "stand out" work on these popular titles, commenting on how "some images looked like they were about to fly off round the room".
Mortons had achieved "strikingly sharp imagery, so well printed in a portfolio enhanced by the use of quality substrates".
For the PJ Award for Niche Market Newspaper of the Year, the criteria was for how well the publications understand and cater for their target audience.
The judging panel "loved the fabulous photography, the superb production values and the wonderful imaginative content that hits the spot for bird lovers".
Steve Wickwar, Print Director of Mortons Media Group Ltd said: "I'm absolutely thrilled that our production team has won the Regional Newspaper Printer of the Year award following up on last year's success.
