In May 2018 NHS England published guidance to primary care prescribers asking us not to routinely prescribe over the counter medicines for common conditions. You might now find something you have previously received on prescription e.g. treatment for dry skin or dry eyes, can usually be an ‘over the counter’ medication for you to purchase.
Finally, as the housing increases in the local area, we would like to reiterate that we are very happy to welcome new patients to our practice. We pride ourselves on being forward thinking and in anticipation of the increasing numbers, we have extended our staffing.
