At its July meeting members of Petersfield South Downs Probus Club (PSDPC) made a generous donation to a locally based Good Cause. A cheque of £600 was presented to Autism Hampshire, this year’s nominated beneficiary.
In the conference room of the Half Moon in Sheet, a cheque was handed over by the Club Chairman, Dan Quinn to Clare Wheeler and Angela Thompson both of the Autism Hampshire organisation. Following the presentation, Clare and Angela thanked the Club and then combined to give an absorbing Talk entitled ‘Asperger and Autism’ which focussed on raising autism awareness and services provided to support individuals, families and professionals.’
