Now, cricket isn’t my sport, in fact I’m not too sure on the rules, but when you find a cricket club that has as much success as Havant Cricket Club, then you have to be impressed. Founded in 1988, they have turned Havant Park into a fortress for even the toughest of opponents to fear. With six Southern Premier League cricket titles since the turn of the century, no one could reasonably disagree that they are up there with the best. As well as their league dominance, in 2011 the same year that they won their latest title, they conquered the opposition in the leagues Twenty20 competition. They followed this up by finishing runners up to Bashley in a Superover a year later in 2012. Having found such a club, I will be sure to continue to follow their progress.
