LEARN TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL WITH SOUTH HANTS VOLLEYBALL CLUB

Did you know that volleyball is unique? It is the only high energy, zero body contact sport that you can play men’s, women’s or mixed, indoors and outdoors, standing or sitting!

Would you like to try your hand at this exciting and fun sport? Whether you are looking to get fit, have fun, get competitive or just get out and join a sociable sports club, South Hants Volleyball Club might be what you are looking for. Cater for 10 year olds and upwards from total beginners to elite players, boys, girls, men and women National League players.

The Club’s teams that play for fun, in summer outdoor tournaments around the country, in the local league, the Hampshire League and the Women’s National Division 2 South. With qualified, experienced coaches you are assured of a warm welcome to our club.

Your first session is free and following that, if you wish to continue there is a low annual membership fee of £10 plus a monthly fee of £7.50 for students and £15 for adults. For this it is possible to enjoy 12 hours of volleyball a month. Juniors ‘pay as they go’ with a charge of £4 per 2 hour session: Adults train at Purbrook Park School in Park Avenue, Waterlooville, PO7 5DS, on Tuesday evenings from 6.30 pm and Havant Leisure Centre on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Juniors train fortnightly at Havant Leisure Centre on Saturday afternoons.

The South Hants Ladies next home matches in the National League are on Sunday 2 March v Essex Trinity and Sunday 22 March v Dulwich Tuskers. All matches are played at the Purbrook Park School, in the Sports Hall which is accessed from the rear entrance of the school in The Dale. Matches start at 11.30 am.
