Eleven ladies from the Hayling Island U3A Walking Netball Group travelled to Horndean this month for their first match.
It was a most enjoyable evening and after four quarters they were beaten by the Horndean ladies 6-4, as they have only been playing for four months they were extremely proud of their efforts and ball skills!
The U3A is a membership charity for people who are retired or semi- retired from employment, there is no specific age for joining. So if you fancy giving walking netball a try or one of the other 50 plus activities run by Hayling Island U3A please contact us through the Hayling Island U3A website.
