Textiles Designer Will Inspire Unique Gifts

As the Festive season approaches, you might be wondering what you can give your friends and family this year as a truly unique and special gift. Local textiles designer and Making Space studio tenant Kathryn Green could provide inspiration with her Taster Session on unique printed silk scarves.

Kathryn creates elegant and ethereal printed and dyed textile pieces from her studio at Havant’s Making Space, currently celebrating its tenth anniversary. Her work is informed by her world travels and sense of history.

Making Space are delighted that Kathryn is to run a 5-week printmaking class on Thursday evenings starting on January 11th from 7pm – 9pm. The course costs £145.

Under Kathryn’s expert guidance, participants will not only come away with their own creation, but will learn mark-making methods that can be refined over time for those wanting to develop their skills further.

In order to give each maker quality time and guidance, spaces are strictly limited to ten participants; so early booking is essential to secure your space - contact Making Space on 023 9247 2491, or visit www.makingspace.org.
