Learn or expand your IT skills

Have you missed out on acquiring IT skills or are you confused by computers, mystified by Microsoft or just want to expand your current knowledge? It’s never too late to learn.

The Bridge Advice Centre on Hayling Island is currently running computer courses for anybody from complete novices to more advanced learners. For beginners, we teach the basic principles of how to manage files and folders, word processing, sending and receiving e-mails, adding attachments and surfing the internet. For more adept users we can give more complex instruction such as using spreadsheets, manipulating photographs or creating posters and newsletters.

All lessons are tailored to meet individual learner’s needs and are delivered on a one to one basis, so learners can progress at their own speed.

The courses consist of 8 sessions and are held at The Bridge Centre, 67 Bridge Road, PO11 0JD on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

We ask for a voluntary donation of £4 per session to cover the cost of centre expenses and purchase of equipment which entitles you to a cup of what we consider to be one of the best cups of coffee on the Island. To find out more please call: Dennis on 023 9246 4951 or Mike on 023 9246 6771.
