Hayling U3A organises a wide range of different activities for older people no longer in full-time, gainful employment. We have groups that: study, explore interests, play games, play music, walk, cycle, and visit interesting places. We also arrange a monthly meeting for all members to hear speakers on a variety of topics.
We now have a new web site – haylingu3a.org.uk – that makes it easy for you to find out what we get up to, and how to join in. If your own interest isn’t covered, the site explains how we’d be delighted to help you start a new group.
All our activities are led by our members on a voluntary basis, so membership costs just £15 per year which includes quarterly copies of the National U3A magazine and Hayling Island newsletter.
When you sign up, we’ll give you access to the members’ area of the new web site which includes extra material not visible to the public as well as a personalised news page and a personalised calendar.
