A new tutor for Drawing Essential Skills workshops

Regular attenders at art and design workshops at The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre will be familiar with working with tutor Heather Gray-Newton MA. Now Jules Roper BA is joining the team to introduce Life Drawing Essentials and take over Drawing Essentials classes for the new season.

Drawing Essential SkillsEssential Skills workshops at The Spring are designed to help beginners and improvers gain and practise basic skills in their chosen medium. Our experienced tutors will guide you in completing short tasks, provide demonstrations and help you explore colour, equipment and techniques so that you can make a confident start.

Life Drawing Essentials takes place on Monday afternoons from 1pm–3pm, beginning on12 September and ending on 5 December. There will be a one-week break for half term on Monday 24 October. The cost of this course is £120, or £108 for concessions.

Drawing Essentials takes place on Wednesday mornings from 10am–12noon, beginning on14 September and ending on 7 December. There will be a one-week break for half term on Wednesday 26 October. The cost of this course is £108, or £97 for concessions.
