Parliamentary News: Pompous peers routed by frenzied fairies!

The Marquis of Mengham and the Earl of Idsworth vie for the girl’s hand in Gilbert & Sullivan’s delightful satire about fairies and Parliament, politics in general and the House of Lords in particular. Enjoy some of Sullivan’s famous and sprightly music, ranging from lyrical charm to stirring patriotism. Meet colourful characters such as the ebullient Lord Chancellor and the haughty ferocious Fairy Queen heading up the teams of pompous peers and felicitous frivolous fairies.
