Spirit-of-the-South were invited to sing at the Annual Memorial Service, in St Johns Cathedral, Portsmouth, on Wednesday ,16th of November. As candles were lit we sang Leonard Cohens Hallelujah, I Believe, The Huron Carol, and Lord We Thank Thee, which is a short blessing. In the period of reflection, we sang Amazing Grace. Our performance was well received with many compliments. Thank you to Gillian Rose - Smith, our Deputy MD, for leading us so well through the evening. We will be performing on Dec 17 in the Meridian Centre, Havant, 10-11 am. Then QA Hospital, Cosham at 1-30. We rehearse every Tuesday evening at Havant Methodist Church, Havant, Hants, from 7-30 until 10pm.
