‘Art Stories’ children’s exhibition at The Spring sponsored by Portsdown DFAS
A fun, colourful exhibition of art will showcase the work of children attending The Spring’s popular Art Bugs workshops this summer.
The exhibition will be called Art Stories, and will be on show in the Mezzanine Gallery at The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre in Havant from 21 July 2016.
The pictures have been created by children attending the Art Bugs workshops during the summer term. Each child imagined a story with themselves as the main character; they were asked to describe their character to tutor Lyn Unsworth Lane, who then worked with them to produce their drawings and paintings.
Art Bugs takes place during school term times from 4–5pm on Thursdays, and is suitable for children aged from 5–8 years. The cost is £60 per term. Why not ‘Try before you buy’? If you are a new participant, come along and try your first session for free. If you decide to return, you’ll pay for the session with the rest of the term.
