Monday 9 May | Tuppenny Explorers Club: Build a Boat | 3:45pm / 1 hour

Friday 13 May Traditional Pie Master-class 10am / 2.5 hours
Learn how to make the perfect pie with Jon Kaye of Jake’s Artisan Food. We will make one pork pie and one vegetarian pie using hot water crust and hand raised methods. After the class we will sit down together for lunch (eating one of our pies!).

Tuesday 17 May | Creative Writing | 10:30am / 4 hours
Discover and develop the writer in you using the natural world at Tuppenny Barn for inspiration. Led by Lizzie Chittleboro, the workshop is suitable for all abilities and no previous writing experience is necessary. Bring your own lunch, drinks provided. Tickets: £20. All places must be booked in advance.

Friday 20 May | Tuppenny Tots: Sing-a-long | 10am / 1.5 hours
Have fun with nature themed craft and play activities at Tuppenny Barn. These sessions are especially for pre-school children and their parents. We will spend some time outdoors depending on the weather so please bring wellies and coats. Drinks and homemade cakes included.
Tickets: £5 per family.

Friday 27 May | Southsea Slings
Babywearing advice and Sling Library drop-in session | 10am-midday
Meet Sophy and Rachel from Southsea Sling Library. They will give individual advice to both new and experienced sling wearers. Find out what is best for you or bring along your sling for advice and tips. The team will have slings available for hire or sale. We welcome pregnant families all the way to pre-schoolers. Drinks and home made cake on sale. Plus toys and books to keep little ones amused!

Tuesday 31 May: Half Term activity day: Natural Artists 10am-2pm - Draw, paint and sculpt your way around Tuppenny Barn. We will make natural paint, experiment with drawing techniques and do some wild-art too. (Please bring a packed lunch).
