Waterlooville Lights up the Sky!

On Saturday 21st November, Waterlooville’s Christmas Event began. There was a wonderful Christmas atmosphere which lent to the huge success of the event. Even the cold weather didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the thousands that turned up to enjoy the entertainment on the stage in front of the Heroes pub. Among the activities was a lantern procession by Morelands Primary, Crookhorn College, Purbrook Junior, Berewood School and St Peter’s School, all led by a marching band organised by Caterpillar crafts. The craft fair attracted a lot of interest as did the musicians performing around the town. The hog roast tantalised taste buds and the free mulled wine given out by some businesses was well appreciated.

The event was organised by Waterlooville Events Team of volunteers and agencies, and supported by Evolve Enterprise Society, South Downs College.
