DAY SCHOOL ASPECTS OF HOUSING HISTORY
Saturday 7 March - 10.00am - 3.00pm - Hearth and Home' - Tutor: Geoffrey Mead, will consider the variety of UK housing including aspects of its history, design and building materials. We will look at city centre properties as well as suburban dwellings and the highly distinctive housing areas known as 'plotlands' or 'track and shack', once prolific but now rapidly disappearing from our landscape.
